At a young age, I began to establish my current work ethic. Before I was a teenager, I delivered newspapers and babysat. During High School, I operated our family-owned popcorn wagon. In town, I was known as the popcorn lady. I also worked as a dental assistant where I had various responsibilities including chairside, lab work, appointment scheduling, and submitting insurance. During High School and after college, I worked as a pharmacy technician. After earning my Bachelor’s degree, I went to a fast-paced, progressive computer school where I earned a certificate in PC Programming in 9 months. This certificate is equivalent to an Associate’s degree. During my career in the computer industry, I had various responsibilities including network configuration and administration, level II user support, database design and metric analysis, software integration, graphics design, website design and integration, social media management, and content creation. As a side business, I taught scrapbooking and paper-crafts.
What’s my work ethic? I work hard. I put my heart into what I enjoy. I treat people with respect. I aim to make things better and I always strive to make a difference.
